☌︎Mars meets your Moon

Energy, desire and impatience reach your emotional needs. Desire and drive rise together; channel them before they turn into arguments.

Try this: Put the energy into something you both want.

△︎Pluto trines the relationship’s Sun

Depth, power and transformation reach the relationship’s sense of purpose — what you are building together. Honest depth feels safe; a conversation can go further than usual.

Try this: Talk about something you usually keep to yourselves.

Exact this weektightest on Thu 24 Sep, around 15:00

☍︎The Sun opposes the relationship’s Mars

Attention and visibility reach the relationship’s drive — desire, energy and friction. Attention is pulled in two directions, and one of you may feel overlooked.

Try this: Take turns: one evening each to talk about your own week.

Exact this weektightest on Fri 25 Sep, around 06:40

△︎The Sun trines the relationship’s Sun

Attention and visibility reach the relationship’s sense of purpose — what you are building together. It is an easy week to be seen by each other: credit given, efforts noticed.

Try this: Tell each other one thing you appreciate.

Easingtightest before this week; now separating

☍︎Saturn opposes the relationship’s Moon

Commitment, limits and real-world tests reach the relationship’s emotional climate — how safe it feels day to day. A real-world limit tests the relationship. Name it together instead of apart.

Try this: Name the pressure out loud, and decide one small step.

What a Couple Horoscope Should Be Built From

A couple horoscope is a forecast for two people rather than one sign. This one follows the planets moving over the next seven days as they touch the chart of the relationship — the midpoint, or composite, chart — and each partner’s Venus and Moon, and dates the moment each contact is exact.

Two charts, not two signs

Most pages that call themselves a couple horoscope ask for two sun signs and return a paragraph shared with everyone who picked the same pair — one of 144 combinations. That paragraph cannot know that your relationship is under pressure this week while your neighbours’ is not.

A couple horoscope built from both birth charts can. The planets this week are in the same place for everyone; what differs is which of your points they happen to touch.

What you get here

A one-line theme for the week, a card for today, and the strongest transit of the next seven days with the day it peaks. Pro members see every transit of the week and the exact time of each one. It is calculated fresh every time you open it.

A sun-sign couple horoscope compared with one calculated from two birth charts Two signs, or two charts SUN-SIGN COUPLE HOROSCOPE One paragraph for everyone with the same pair — one of 144 combinations. CALCULATED FOR THE TWO OF YOU → you partner the relationship Nobody else gets the same week.

The Relationship’s Own Chart

The heart of this couple horoscope is the composite chart: one chart made from the midpoints of your two charts. Astrologers read it as the relationship itself — the thing the two of you make together, which neither of you is alone.

Two birth charts combined into one composite chart by taking the midpoint of each pair The midpoint chart your Sun partner's Sun midpoint Halfway between each pair of planets: your Sun and your partner's Sun, your Moon and your partner's Moon, and so on. The result is read as the chart of the relationship itself.

Why the midpoint chart

A transit to one person’s chart describes that person’s week. A transit to the composite chart describes the relationship’s week — the shared mood, the shared test. That is the difference between two personal horoscopes read side by side and a real couple horoscope.

Which five points we watch

Five points of the composite chart carry most of what couples ask about. The table lists them with the two personal points added from each partner’s own chart.

PointWhat it stands for
Composite Sunwhat the relationship is for — what you are building
Composite Moonhow safe and settled it feels day to day
Composite Mercuryhow the two of you talk, listen and decide
Composite Venuswhat you enjoy and value together
Composite Marsdesire, energy and friction
Each partner’s Venushow each of you gives and receives affection
Each partner’s Moonwhat each of you needs to feel safe

Venus and Moon: the Two of You Inside It

A relationship is also two people, and a week can be easy for the relationship and hard for one of you. So this couple horoscope watches each partner’s Venus and Moon as well — four more points, nine in all.

The nine points a couple horoscope watches: five composite points and each partner's Venus and Moon Nine points watched THE RELATIONSHIP (COMPOSITE) Sun Moon Mercury Venus Mars YOU YOUR PARTNER Venus Venus Moon Moon × 9 moving planets Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto × 5 aspects conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition

Venus

Venus is how each of you gives and receives affection. When a planet touches one partner’s Venus, that person’s sense of being loved is what is in play — worth knowing, because it often shows up as a mood rather than a sentence.

Moon

The Moon is what each of you needs to feel safe. A hard transit to one partner’s Moon is the classic week where one of you needs more reassurance than usual, and the couple horoscope says whose Moon it is.

How the Week Is Scanned

Every couple horoscope on this page starts at midnight today, in the first person’s time zone, and runs for seven days.

A week scanned hour by hour with the tightest hour of one contact marked 168 hours, one sample each tightest hour → narrowed to 10 min today +1 +2 +3 +4 +5 +6 Starts at midnight today in the first person's time zone.

Hour by hour

The positions of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are calculated for every hour of the week — 168 samples. For each planet, aspect and point, the tightest hour is kept, then narrowed to ten minutes.

Which planets count

The Moon is too fast for a weekly transit, so it gets its own card for today instead. The other nine all count, but slow planets weigh more: Saturn or Pluto on the relationship’s Moon shapes a week more than Mercury passing by.

Orbs and stages

A contact counts when it comes within 2° for the fast planets and 1.5° for the slow ones. Each is labelled by stage: exact this week, still building, or easing after it peaked. No planet may take more than two of the five slots in a couple horoscope, so one slow planet cannot fill it.

Couple Horoscope Today: Reading the Moon

The Moon changes sign every two to three days and crosses every point in your charts once a month. That makes it the right planet for a couple horoscope today.

Today's card: the Moon's sign, when it changed sign and the moment it touches one of the couple's points Today's card ♑︎ Moon in Capricorn entered Capricorn at 00:54 The Moon meets Sam’s Moon, around 02:00 A contact within 1° — it colours an evening, not a week. From the sample couple, Alex and Sam.

The Moon’s sign

The Moon’s sign sets the mood of the day for everyone — Capricorn is practical, Pisces is soft — and when it changes sign during the day, the card gives the time.

When the Moon touches your points

If today’s Moon comes within 1° of one of your nine points, the card names it with the time, rounded to ten minutes. These contacts pass in a few hours; they colour an evening rather than a week.

Reading the Week Together

A couple horoscope is most useful when both of you read it. Three habits help.

Three stages of a transit across the week: building, exact, easing Three stages BUILDING still tightening at week's end EXACT tightest inside the week EASING tightest before; separating

Building, exact, easing

A building transit is a pressure you may feel before you can name it. An exact one is the week it is most noticeable. An easing one is the right moment to talk about what just happened.

Quiet weeks

Some weeks nothing is close. The couple horoscope says so plainly instead of inventing something. A quiet week is a good week to enjoy, not a warning.

Two readings of the same transit

When a planet touches one partner’s Venus or Moon, the week feels different for each of you. Read it from both sides: the one being touched, and the one living next to them.

Couple Horoscope or Sun-Sign Love Horoscope?

Both have a place. A sign horoscope is general and quick; a couple horoscope is specific and needs birth data.

Frequently Asked Questions

›Is this couple horoscope free?

Yes. Everyone gets the week’s theme, today’s Moon and the strongest transit of the week, with no account. Pro adds the rest of the week’s transits and the exact time each one peaks.

See what Pro adds →

›Why do you need both birth dates?

Because the forecast is for the two of you, not for two zodiac signs. Both birth charts give each person’s Venus and Moon, and together they make the relationship’s own chart — the midpoint (composite) chart — which is what the week’s planets are measured against.

›What if we don’t know our birth times?

Tick “time unknown” and the charts are cast for midday. Most points barely move in a day, but the Moon moves about 13°, so the page flags that the relationship’s Moon and that person’s Moon are approximate.

›How often does the couple horoscope change?

Every day. The seven days always start today, in the first person’s time zone, so opening the page tomorrow shows a new “today” and a week that has moved on by one day.

›What is a composite chart?

A chart built from the midpoints of the two birth charts — halfway between your Sun and your partner’s Sun, and so on. Astrologers read it as the chart of the relationship itself.

Calculate your composite chart →

›Why does it say this is a quiet week?

Because no planet is close to one of your nine points. Many weeks are like that, and saying so is more honest than filling the space with general advice. Today’s Moon card still changes every day.

›What does Pro add?

Up to four more transits for the week, the exact time each one peaks, and the same for every week you come back. The first transit and today’s card are the same for everyone.

›Is this the same as a daily love horoscope for my sign?

No. A sign horoscope is written for everyone born in that month. This couple horoscope is calculated for two specific people and their relationship chart, so no one else gets the same week.
